Projects

Below are few research projects being carried by SAB and project being carried out with the participation of SAB staff:

        1-to-1 laptop project, funded by SAB, 2008.
        The e-TMA System in Support of AOU Formative Assessment, funded
            by the UNESCO, 2005.
        Open Learning Models and Technologies, funded by the European
            Commission, 2003.
        Media Lectures in Support of Open Learning, funded by SAB, 2006.

Faculty members at the AOU are encouraged to apply for research grants from international organizations as well as relevant bodies in participating Arab countries. The university have its own research fund managed through the Office of the Vice Rector for Research. All faculty members are eligible to apply for research grants, by filling the application form and submitting it to the same office through the branch director.
