The college recognizes Information Technology and Computing as a fundamental and vital attribute of all human society. The primary aims of our program of study are to enable students to develop their own capacity for learning and meeting national, international and regional needs, as well as preparing them for employment and further higher education study.
College of Language Studies
The college provides students with new ideas to discuss, analyze, understand, internalize, and, more importantly, use in their on-going quest for experience and expertise in their area of specialization (linguistics and literature in this case) and for success in their future careers. This is done, with specific reference to providing students with quality education in English language and literature in the context of distance learning, which encompasses learning from written text, classroom tutorials, talks and lectures, audio and video cassettes, group discussions, case studies and project work in an environment that is conducive to learning.

The college assumes the responsibility of preparing, organizing, supervising and monitoring the Business Studies Program. The program aims at preparing professionals to be more effective in the demanding world of modern business. The candidates - students and managerial employees - will receive education and training in management and in decision-making. Business professionals will be prepared to improve their use of tools needed to make them more efficient and to make their corporations and businesses more productive and competitive domestically and internationally.
College of Education
The college aims at providing local societies with educated and trained human resources for various levels of education sectors at the public and higher education institutes. The college also undertakes basic and applied research projects in service of local communities and in collaboration with regional and international agencies. |
